Celebrate NOW Learning in Bilborough!

Bilborough Community Centre is the place to be this Saturday , 29th October from 10am - 3pm. There will be an exhibition of works made by local people who have been involved in NOW Learning projects over the past six months.

The NOW Learning projects in Bilborough have been working with a wide range of people from the neighbourhood, and Saturday will bring people together to celebrate their acvhievements.
The projects have aimed to explore how local people feel about their area and how individuals can contribute to their community positively. The work has enabled learners to gain new skills that they might use again - including film making, computer skills, positive communication, organisation and planning skills. There are some individuals who are now keen to continue creative projects in the community and looking to volunteer and get training so that work can be sustained.
If you come on Saturday you will have the opportunity to see a short film made by pupils at Glenbrook School, a display of photographs of our parents and toddlers group work and see the interactive on line game created by local arts collaborative YOLK and Bilborough library users. There will also be a range of creative activities and an opportunity for a cup of tea and cake over conversation with the neighbours!
