Model Citizen is the latest piece of work from Low Brow Trash, in collaboration with Peter Bowcott. Fusing the popular Bank Holiday game 'Happy Families' with a somewhat bleaker intent, this event presents the audience with projected images in which they themselves appear.
These images change as the audience members move around in front of the projection, warping their appearence on the screen into new, and occasionally disturbing forms. It's definitely fun for all the family, especially if your kids love themes fo urban crime, hyper-real imagery, and abstractly suggested identities (and what child doesn't?). What a great chance to participate in the creation of a great piece of public art!
