Why does the tax payer’s pocket subsidise the arts? At heart it’s because the arts can add value to how we think about the world around us and about ourselves. In short, it provides opportunities to learn. Here at NOW we’re well placed to facilitate learning projects because of our interests in convergent creative practises. Rather than promoting any specific art form, NOW enables people to interact with and participate in creativity, in ways that offer personal development and social enhancement. Learning is integrated into everything we do, and we want to continue to create sustainable opportunities for people.
