Yolk: Inquisitors
Inquisitors is an ongoing investigation in and of Nottingham’s libraries, consisting of live events and an online piece available through the link below, which will be launched on 29th October 2005 at Bilborough library.
Nottingham based arts collective YOLK has been undertaking an action research project with NOW Learning at Bilborough library. Artists have been working with library staff and members to explore the role the library plays in the community and how it reflects life in Bilborough. From their research, they have developed an online piece which uses the library environment to map the local neighbourhood. The project encourages participation and communication from both the local communities and visitors to the virtual library.
